For centuries, when a crime was committed on sacred grounds during a full lunar eclipse, the sinner was transformed into a statue. In this ritual, Pierre Descur was cursed at the cathedral of Notre-Dame in 1859 and became half-man, half-gargoyle; half-flesh, half-stone. Since then, when night descends upon the City of Lights, the tortured Descur wields his powers to battle demonic gargoyles and avenge the murder of his wife…

But a prophecy calling for the resurrection of the mythical Medusa during the next lunar eclipse now threatens the survival of humanity. Before this Evil Queen can spawn an army of thousands of gargoyles, Descur must join forces with Hakeem, a Persian warrior cursed during the ancient Spartan wars, to save our world from plunging into eternal darkness…
